The Guide store update
Hello friends! We’re back!
By now you’ve probably seen several ominous posts, some blurry photos, and a handful of confusing gifs floating around on our Twitter and Instagram. We’ve seen a ton of brilliant guesses as to what we’ve been up to and after some intense weeks of sorting through what we have, we’re finally ready to lay out the details.
Our team spent some time in beautiful Wales this October and while we were there we took arguably too many photos of Michael Sheen around Margam Park in Port Talbot! Our aim was to capture the whimsical, the weird, and the delightful in both Michael and the park. No one on this team is a professional photographer (yet) ((see: the polaroid campaign)) but we really wanted to give it a go and see what would come out of it! We prepped as much as we could in the months leading up to it and then off we went!
The plan was to create a 2023 calendar with the photos but there were so many beautiful ones we decided to add to the product list and do prints as well!
So, what’s coming:
We’ll have roughly 20 different prints available
A whole host of high-res digital download options
A 12-month 2023 calendar with over 30 photos in it with a special link included to view behind the scenes footage and photos
Bundles that will help you mix and match items and see the alternate shots that didn’t make it to print!
What’s different this time around: This isn’t our typical campaign with a start and end date. We are opening this store on the 6th and it will remain open. While the calendar is limited time only, the prints and digital download options will remain available in the store indefinitely. And we may add more depending on how well these do!
Pricing: We will have prints starting at £5 and every single item is only available in exchange for donations to the charity Michael has chosen (more on that and pricing soon).
Shipping: Most items will begin shipping immediately (we are still waiting on one delivery). Our aim is to get those who order first their items by Christmas and we promise to work overtime to try to make that happen so if you are looking to get one of your online friends a gift this year, send them one through us!
As always, shipping is free no matter where you are in the world but if you want to help us cover those costs please reach out!
Digital orders: We aim to send all digital downloads within 24 hours of placing an order. We are still working through copyright details but will have all of the info ready when the store opens!
