The White Curl (TWC) is a non-profit organization that raises funds for the Welsh charities serving the most vulnerable members of our society.
Through our unique merchandise and auction campaigns we mobilize a community of supporters from all around the world to raise critical funds and heighten visibility for the charities we support.
How it works
Partner
Alongside our fundraising partner, Michael Sheen, we select a charity to receive donations during a designated campaign period. We work closely with the charity selected to understand their needs, challenges, and the communities they serve in Wales. These relationships continue even after the fundraising ends, with ongoing promotion of their work and donations encouraged year-round.
Mobilize
With the help of a large community of supporters, we run limited-time merchandise, auction, and event campaigns featuring unique items made by and with Michael Sheen and any friends he brings along the way!
We operate an innovative model that allows for donations to be made directly to the charity, never to us, in exchange for anything we offer and we then ship those items for free all around the world. This approach allows for complete transparency for the donor and charity at all times.
Educate
We believe fundraising goes beyond the donations. The critical work of these charities and the support they offer their communities is at the heart of why we do this. Every campaign aims to highlight this work, putting it center-stage for a large audience, with the hope that people from around the world will connect with their mission and spread the word!
