What If We Took Polaroids of Michael Sheen…

Hello from beautiful, rainy London! 

By now you’ve probably seen some of our photos and campaign hints floating around but we think it’s time to fill you in on what we’ve been up to! After self-isolating and taking an excessive amount of COVID tests, Team TWC have transformed into amateur photographers and filmmakers to take one-of-a-kind photos of Michael Sheen around London! When we say one-of-a-kind we really mean it, the Polaroids we are taking represent a snapshot of this time in Michael’s life. They capture him in the middle of the run of a play but more than that we think these capture his personality, his humor, and the creativity that seems to effortlessly come from him. There’s even a few he took himself backstage at the National Theatre!

So what are we going to do with all of these glorious Polaroids? We’ll be auctioning a selection of them, each autographed, and where available each auction will include exclusive behind-the-scenes video of that specific Polaroid. 100% of every auction will go to the charity Michael has chosen. Some of the auctions might also include some extra goodies so be sure to read the details for each auction when it’s available!

This will be our first time holding an auction for TWC items but we still want this campaign to be accessible to as many people as possible. With that in mind, we will also be offering a limited run of merchandise to include reprints of select Polaroids in exchange for donations made to the charity Michael has chosen (more on that soon!)

Note: With a few exceptions, the Polaroids available for auction will not appear on any of the reprint merchandise.

Our aim is to have the auction and merchandise available in August. Exact dates, auction details, pricing, and charity information will be announced in the coming weeks so keep an eye on our Twitter and blog!
